For a January start, we recommend applying by early December. Because our cohorts are kept small to ensure personalized instruction, spots are limited and fill up quickly.

Q: How do I secure my spot in the program? A: After you submit your online application, we arrange a mandatory Zoom interview to discuss your goals. Once accepted, the program fee must be submitted after that meeting to confirm your placement.

Course Structure & Schedule

Q: Is the 5-week course conducted entirely in the classroom? A: Yes. This is a fully immersive, in-person program. It consists of 130 academic hours, including 100 hours of classroom instruction and 10 hours of academic observations.

Q: What is the daily schedule? A: The course is full-time, Monday through Friday. It is a very intensive program, and we strictly advise students to keep their schedules (especially the final two weeks) entirely commitment-free to focus on the demanding load of academic materials and teaching practice.

Q: How does the "5-week" timeline work with Spanish classes? A: The core TEFL certification takes 4 weeks. The 5th week is dedicated to your Spanish immersion. You have the flexibility to take your Spanish group classes either before the TEFL training begins or after it concludes.

Q: What is the cost of the course if I already live in the city? A: For local residents who do not require housing, the cost for the TEFL certification (including job placement and one week of Spanish) is $1,900 USD.

Q: Is accommodation provided at Palacio Piedras? A: Yes. We offer premium onsite residences at Palacio Piedras. You can choose a private double room (suitable for single occupancy) for $45 per day. These rooms are designed for comfort and focus, featuring dedicated workspaces and bright, spacious layouts. Shared accommodation options are also available for those looking for a more communal experience.
