The Application Process

• Please note: Submitting an application does not guarantee a spot in the class. Our courses are small, personalized, and space is limited.

• Initial Review: We will contact you within 48 hours.
• Eligible candidates will receive a Program Confirmation email.
• Incomplete profiles may be asked for further information.
• Mandatory Interview: You must schedule a Zoom meeting with our academic advisor. You are required to provide a day and time for us to connect with you.
• Secure Your Spot: Payment is required immediately following your Zoom interview.
• Confirmation: Your enrollment is only confirmed once full payment is received.

Eligibility Requirements

Before applying, please ensure you meet the following criteria:

• Age: Minimum 18 years old. There is no maximum age limit.
• Medical Fitness: You must complete a specific Medical Health Form (provided by us), which must be signed by a licensed physician.
• Mental Health: Having anxiety, depression, or other conditions does not disqualify you if you are currently stable or following a successful medication plan. However, your doctor must verify that you are fit to undertake this intensive program.
• Strict Verification: We do not accept fake health certificates. The form must be completed by a real, traceable doctor. Submission of fraudulent documents will result in immediate disqualification.
• Legal Status: You must provide a clean criminal record.
• English Proficiency: You must be a native English speaker OR a fluent speaker (C1 Level) of any nationality.
• Non-Native Speakers: You must submit a copy of your C1 certificate.
• Visa Status: You must be eligible to enter Argentina as a tourist.
• Note: We do not issue visa letters or assist with immigration matters. You must contact your local embassy and be prepared to enter on a tourist capacity.
• Commitment: High degree of maturity and professionalism. You must have no other major commitments during the course to ensure full focus.

Professional Commitment & Communication Policy

Consistent communication is essential. Responsiveness to our emails is a requirement for admission and continued enrollment.

• If we do not receive timely responses to our communications, we reserve the right to remove the applicant or student from the program immediately.
• This policy ensures our instructors can effectively manage their time and that all enrolled students are actively engaged.

Terms and Conditions

Please read carefully. By submitting an application and paying your fees, you enter into a legally binding contract with Buenos Aires TEFL Institute ("The School") and agree to the following:

1. Payment & Cancellation Policy

• Payment: All program fees must be paid immediately after your Zoom interview to secure your place.
• No Refunds:
• There is no refund whatsoever if the student cancels the program.
• No refunds will be issued once the course (or accommodation, if applicable) has started or been made available to the student.

2. Behavioral Expectations

• Respect: Students must show respectful behavior towards TEFL Trainers, staff, and peers at all times.
• Zero Tolerance: Any student demonstrating disrespectful, strange, or threatening behavior may be removed from the program immediately without refund. Local authorities will be informed if necessary.
• Defamation: If a student defames the school on any platform, the school reserves the right to take legal action under Argentine Penal Code (Articles 109, 110) or applicable international laws.

3. Attendance & Participation

• Mandatory Attendance: You must attend all 100 academic hours, 10 hours of observation, and 20 hours of teaching practice.
• No Make-Ups: Missed classes due to illness (without an original doctor’s certificate) or personal reasons will not be rescheduled.
• Media Release: By enrolling, you grant permission for the school to use your image, video, CV, and course feedback for promotional purposes and job placement with employers.

4. Deferral & Re-enrollment Policy

Deferral: Can be requested only for documented emergencies (serious illness, injury, family emergency).

• Must be requested in writing at least two weeks prior to the start date.
• Allows postponement for up to one year at no extra cost.
• Re-enrollment Fee: If a student fails to attend without a focused deferral, or wishes to return after the one-year deferral period expires, a re-enrollment fee of $895 USD applies.
